Shipping policy

 

Delivery

We will deliver the Goods to the Delivery Location by the time or within the agreed period if a date is specified at the point of order. Please note that as we work with reclaimed wood, we sometimes run into issues that require extra time and creative solutions and this may delay your order, or delay a previous order, which in turn delays the start of your fixture/piece – should such issues occur, that will delay your order, we will let you now as soon as possible. The shipping time detailed in your invoice/order confirmation is an estimate of completion, and unless a date is specified and agreed at the time of ordering, should be used only as a guide. As soon as we begin to make your order, we will let you know and keep in touch throughout the making process, and as soon as possible give you a dispatch date. In these unprecedented times we may also need to suspend business due to public health emergencies. We cannot be held responsible for delays that occur to your order, even in the event of an agreed dispatch date, should this or a further lockdown of businesses due to a pandemic or other public health emergency occur. We will inform you as soon as possible should there be an unexpected delay to your order.

 22. We do deliver to addresses outside England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and Channels Islands. For delivery outside that area, you may need to pay import duties or other taxes, as we will not pay them.

 23. You agree we may deliver the Goods in instalments if we suffer a shortage of stock or other genuine and fair reason, subject to the above provisions and provided you are not liable for extra charges.

 24. If you or your nominee fail, through no fault of ours, to take delivery of the Goods at the Delivery Location, we may charge the reasonable costs of storing and redelivering them.

 25. The Goods will become your responsibility from the completion of delivery or Customer collection. You must, if reasonably practicable, examine the Goods before accepting them.

26. Ready Made products are shipped through Parcel Force48 and we ship them on the next working day. The cost of the shipping is £15 (for large products up to 30kg heavy and 3m long), £4.50 for smaller products (cost is calculated by weight and size). The overall estimated delivery time is 1-3 working days, this does not include the lead time to make bespoke products, please view our client area for current lead time and order progress. 

27. Bespoke products' delivery time takes the lead time into account. You can check our current lead times on our Client Page. In case of a time restraint, please contact us to discuss.  

28. The shipping time of the bulbs depends on whether the bulb is in stock in our shop, or whether we need to order it. In some cases, we can try and order the bulbs straight to your home address, which leaves the delivery time unaffected. 

30. Where the goods are too large to be shipped by standard courier, such as large tables and outdoor tree lamps, shipping will be via van and the cost will depend on size, weight and distance. The cost of this shipping will be payable by the client and invoiced before the product is shipped.

Import Duties & Taxes

For all orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom, the customer is responsible for any import duties, customs tariffs, local taxes (including but not limited to VAT, GST or sales tax), and courier handling or brokerage fees that may be charged by the destination country. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are payable by you upon delivery. MooBoo Home has no control over these fees and is unable to predict or guarantee the amount that may be charged. Failure to pay any applicable import charges may result in delays, return of the goods, or additional costs, which will remain the responsibility of the customer.
