No. 5 Live Plants and Electricity don't mix, right?

Wrong (well, when made very carefully to be water resistant)! A new lighting fixture to the MooBoo range this year is the water Resistant Norwegian Spruce chandelier. Made to withstand moisture so that live plants can be displayed across the top of the beam.

House plants are more popular than ever, and with a huge choice of cascading foliage and blooms, you are sure to make something spectacular and unique for your home.

No. 4 Oak Wrap Around Chandelier

Oak from the Plymouth dry docks continues to be a popular option this year. With glorious ebony staining telling the story of years of dockyard industrial use, these fixtures add history and warmth to a space. Available in lengths up to 150cm, and in a variation of sizes from planks to chunkier beams, this oak wows in every space it occupies. The wrap around style is still very popular and these oak beams lend themsleves to this more rustic design. Seen here with custom built hanging brackets by on our site Blacksmith, Rex Latham.

No. 3 Triple Pendant with Organic Evo bulbs

This triple pendant combination continues to wow, and with infinite colour combinations you can really make this unique to you and your space. You need a minimum of 75cm for this pendant light to work, and of you have over 150cm of drop available, may we suggest adding extra bulbs for the ultimate wow factor. This fixture is a cost effective alternative to the Tala range, saving you 50% on the cost of Tala bulbs and with more colour options available. Each is made to fit your space perfectly and popular locations for this fixture include over kitchen islands with high apex ceilings, and over staircases.

No. 2 Norwegian Spruce Chandelier

This popular ceiling light made from Norwegian Spruce reclaimed from the Tiger Brewery building in Burton upon Trent, has so many variations available that we never make the same fixture twice! As with all our ceiling lights, cable and component colour combinations make each fixture unique, but honestly there are never two pieces of spruce the same. We've had lovely long lengths available, and with beams up to  22cm wide they are perfect for pairing with copper shades or our XXL range of decorative bulbs.

No. 1 Oak Stave Chandelier

We just haven't been able to keep these oak stave chandeliers in stock, we make one, hang it in the studio and whoosh its gone! We think it's because of the elegant curves of the staves, the slim profile and gorgeous rustic patina. Red wine barrels or whiskey barrels make up these stunning ceiling light fixtures, each bringing their own charm to the design. Perfect for the clients who want something simpler than a chunky beam, neater perhaps or less prominent in the space. We've made them with all sorts of colour combinations and bulb choices, but this version red wine barrel version, with a long drop and organic Neo bulbs, is our favourite.

A special shout out for the 1m 5 bulb combination....

Those of you with a keen eye for detail might have noticed that most of the fixtures above are similar in size and bulb numbers, and for good reason. Whatever piece of timber you choose, from oak to spruce, one combination comes out on top time and again, and thats a 1m length with 5 lamp holders. There's something about this sizing that fits most spaces and applications, the number of bulbs gives a good even light and the spacing is pleasing to the eye.

Sometimes keeping it simple is the best way!
