Welcome to MooBoo Home, where every piece tells a story and every material is chosen with care. We’re Andy and Nic Bouchard — a husband-and-wife team crafting bespoke lighting and homewares from beautiful reclaimed timber, all handmade right here in Britain.
Our studio is based in the heart of the Devon countryside, within the grounds of Cockington Country Park. You’ll find us in the Stable Yard at Cockington Court Craft Centre, surrounded by a wonderful community of makers. Visitors are always welcome to stop by, watch us at work, explore our ever-changing timbers, and chat about design ideas over a cuppa. No two visits are ever the same — our creations evolve weekly as new timber arrives and new inspiration strikes.
Our Story
MooBoo Home began in 2014 under a humble gazebo at our London flat. From gazebo to shed, from London to Devon, from the garage to our Cockington studio — it’s been quite the adventure!
Shortly after opening our first Etsy shop, we were invited to take part in Amazon Handmade’s UK launch alongside 20 other artisans. Amazon even sent a film crew to our flat to film our process for their promotional videos — an unforgettable experience that helped introduce MooBoo Home to the world.
Today, we design, handcraft, and test every piece ourselves. Whether you’re visiting in person or exploring online, you’re always seeing something that has been lovingly made by us, in our studio, from start to finish.
What We Make
At MooBoo Home, we specialise in bespoke wooden beam chandeliers, handcrafted from reclaimed — and sometimes historic — timber. Each chandelier is entirely unique, designed to suit your home and your style. Whether you love rustic, industrial, contemporary or vintage-inspired design, we’ll help you create the perfect ambience.
With hundreds of Italian fabric cables, a wide range of fittings and finishes, and an ever-changing selection of characterful reclaimed timbers, every chandelier becomes a personal statement piece — designed for you, and only you.

Table and floor lamps that bring warmth, character, and a touch of hygge to your home. Each is inspired by the timber or ceramics we find, paired with the perfect decorative bulb for a soft, ambient glow. You can choose a ready-made lamp from our studio, or we’ll design something bespoke for your space.

Outdoor lighting that transforms gardens at the flick of a switch — far beyond basic wall lights and solar strings. From tree lamps to custom cable sets, we can help you create an outdoor atmosphere that’s both functional and fabulous.

Bespoke clocks made from oak whisky barrel lids or cable reel ends, each with your choice of timber, finish, and mechanism colour. No two are ever the same.

Acoustic speakers that need no batteries or cables — perfect for the garden, the park, or the beach. Crafted from wood or genuine vintage phonograph horns, they can even be personalised with engraved images or text for a truly unique gift.

Cluster pendant lights — ideal for staircases, hallways, and vaulted ceilings, bringing statement style to spaces where timber beams may not suit.

Wall lighting — flexible, mains-free options using decorative fabric cables to brighten bedside corners, firesides, or reading nooks.
We source much of our wood through timber recycling projects that rescue and repurpose materials otherwise destined for landfill. Whenever possible, we trace the history of each piece — where it came from, how it was used — and share that story with our clients. For truly special commissions, we can even add a small engraved plaque detailing the timber’s origins.
Although we love working with vintage materials, all electrical components — from cables and switches to plugs and lamp holders — are brand new, sourced from trusted suppliers, and fully UKCA-certified after end-of-line testing. We also make our fixtures with North American and Canada UL certified components to allow us to ship worldwide.
Our Ethos
We believe that timber is beautiful, no matter its age or previous life. In a throwaway world, we’re passionate about reclaiming, reusing, and re-loving materials to create something meaningful and lasting.
Every design we make evolves with the materials we find and the people we meet. That flexibility means no two projects are ever alike — and that’s exactly how we like it.
